WHY KIDCAB ?
Established for 6 years, it all started with a personal experience
As a child, Maxime, passionate about sports and especially football, was unable to join his local club to attend training sessions and competitions due to the lack of suitable mobility solutions. His parents could not provide these journeys themselves : a situation many families know all too well.
Later, like many students, he babysat in the evenings and at weekends and realised that, despite the exponential growth of VTC and taxi services since 2008, very little had changed for children’s and teenagers’ mobility. Kidcab was born from this observation: a complete lack of flexible, child-adapted and parent-reassuring mobility services.
A partnership between a transport professional and a mum
To meet this need, Maxime, a mobility specialist (holder of the Professional Transport Certificate and trained in Transporting Persons with Reduced Mobility), designs a tailor-made offer.
From the very beginning of this project, he surrounded himself with his mother, Nathalie.. Knowing the difficulties encountered and the expectations of families, Nathalie brings an expert perspective by perfectly identifying the mobility issues that young people encounter.

This is a collaboration between a professional and a parent directly involved. Together, they built a solution that truly filled the gaps in youth transportation and eased the mental burden on parents. This is how Kidcab, a family-run and socially conscious project was born.
