Kidcab, the children's transportation service
Kidcab has nearly 200 highly qualified drivers who have been carefully selected and trained to transport children.
Our mission: to ease the mental burden on parents and enable children to participate in after-school activities, even if they don’t have access to transportation.
Did you know that, on average, children spend 17 minutes traveling to their after-school activities? In addition, a parent or guardian must spend about an hour and a half of their day driving their child to these activities.

Kidcab driver-partners: How are they selected?
At Kidcab, we only hire drivers who provide high-quality service and are selected based on a number of strict criteria.
To become a Kidcab driver, you must meet the following three requirements:
- be transportation professionals: private hire drivers or LOTI-certified drivers (driving vehicles with more than 9 seats);
- own a vehicle that complies with VTC or LOTI standards and is insured for the transportation of children;
- have already established and insured their business (either as a sole proprietorship or as a company licensed to provide paid passenger transportation services)
To begin with, each applicant must complete our online form to provide their personal information and ensure that they meet all the required criteria. We take care to carefully review all applications we receive.
Candidates who meet the criteria then participate in a 30-minute video interview with a member of our team. This interview gives our team members the opportunity to introduce the candidate to our company and our values and to discuss various topics with them. What is their work style? Do they meet Kidcab’s requirements? And so on.
If the video interview goes well, the candidate is invited to our offices in Suresnes for an initial in-person meeting. Since our goal is to build a long-term relationship of trust with our drivers, we take care to conduct a very thorough interview with candidates to assess their skills and interpersonal abilities in relation to our customers. This second interview will therefore be decisive, and at its conclusion, we will decide whether the candidate meets Kidcab’s selection criteria.
If the candidate is selected, they will receive a service agreement directly via email, which they can sign online. They will then need to send us a number of supporting documents, such as a criminal record, insurance policies, identification documents, a driver’s license, etc.
