Here are the most frequently asked questions about our service:
How is Kidcab different from traditional taxis and private hire vehicles?
The service we offer is a high-quality service, with carefully selected and trained to transport children. We want to entrust our customers' children to reliable drivers.
What's more, our service is completely different from what ride-hailing and taxi apps offer, as we provide support from start to finish to ensure your children arrive at their destination safely.
Finally, we do not assign you the nearest driver at the time of service, but a driver who will transport your child throughout the year. To do this, the driver must travel empty on each trip to pick up your child, and will therefore arrive early so that your child does not have to wait alone. The service therefore does not only last for the duration of the journey.
At what age can children start using Kidcab?
Kidcab services are suitable for children aged 3 and above.
Who are Kidcab services intended for?
The Kidcab service is for anyone who needs a vehicle with a driver to transport one or more children. Kidcab is therefore aimed at individuals, children with special needs, schools, associations and sports clubs, companies , and local authorities.

How do I request an estimate for my needs?
To request an estimate, simply complete this questionnaire and send us all the information relating to your request so that we can provide you with a quote that best meets your needs.
How are Kidcab drivers selected?
The drivers we select are serious drivers who must hold a transport license, a first aid certificate, a clean criminal record, and insurance for their vehicles and their activity.
We conduct several interviews with them to ensure that they meet our expectations for a driver for children.
In addition, we regularly check drivers' documents to ensure that they are up to date.
What is the deadline for booking a service?
Kidcab offers you the option to book up to 1 week before the start of the first race.
What is the maximum number of children in a car?
In a Kidcab car, the maximum number of children is 3. However, Kidcab also offers 7-seater vans. Depending on requests, the size of the vehicle varies.
What is the minimum number of children in a Kidcab vehicle?
No minimum order at Kidcab!
Kidcab drivers can start their journey as soon as there is a child in the car.
Are there booster seats for children?
We adapt our vehicles to suit your needs. To do this, we ask you in advance for the size and age of your children to determine whether or not booster seats are required in our vehicle.
Is it possible for an accompanying person to ride in the vehicle?
Yes, of course! And the price remains the same regardless of the number of people in the vehicle (subject to availability) if the pick-up address for all passengers is the same.
You can therefore add as many accompanying persons as you wish if there is room in the vehicle.
My child forgot something in the Kidcab vehicle. Can I retrieve it?
If you have forgotten something in one of our partner vehicles, contact the Kidcab team directly. We will contact your driver and help you retrieve your item.
Our drivers are caring people, and they contact us directly as soon as something has been left behind in the car.
What happens if the journey takes longer than expected?
The price of your trip is fixed in advance, so it will remain the same even if there is heavy traffic or if your driver takes a longer route than the one recommended by Kidcab.
If you request a change to the route during the journey or if the passenger arrives later than the time specified in the booking, additional charges may apply.
Kidcab is in no way responsible for traffic or the route chosen by the driver. To this extent, the estimated arrival time is not binding on the company but is provided for information purposes only.
Is it possible to cancel a ride? Are there any fees?
When you book a transportation service, you are committed for the duration of the contract. Our partner drivers are therefore mobilized to carry out your journey and refuse any other service.
Therefore, if you cancel a trip, cancellation fees will apply (more information can be found in the General Terms and Conditions attached to the quote at the time of signing the contract).
Can the departure time or address be changed at the last minute?
In exceptional circumstances, you may request that we change the departure time of your journey. We will try to find the most suitable solution for you, but we cannot guarantee that your driver will be available. This is because our partner drivers have their schedules determined in advance and have other services to provide during the day, and may not be available at another time.
Can children eat their snacks in the car?
Yes, children can eat snacks in the vehicles. However, the vehicles of our partner drivers are clean and well maintained. Therefore, if a child stains the partner driver's vehicle, you will be required to pay a flat fee of €200 for cleaning.
